Jennifer Lee
Founder & Director
Jennifer is an undergraduate student at William & Mary planning to major in Accounting with a minor in Educational Studies. Jennifer founded Mental Health Resilient after graduating The Hill School, building on her experience as an events coordinator in Hill's Students Advocating for Mental Health Club. Her work is inspired by her own mental health experience and the impact mental health struggles had on her loved ones.
During her time at Hill, Jennifer developed close connections with student-athletes and saw how the constant pressure to stay tough and the lack of mental health conversations can lead to hidden mental and emotional struggles.
As MHR's Founder, Jennifer leads all strategy, program development, and outreach initiatives. She works with a team of student-athletes to share resources that help other athletes, and encourages them to share their stories with confidence. She strongly believes in unifying student voices to create a greater, positive impact and help end the stigma around mental health.
In her downtime, she enjoys yoga, cooking, and spending time with friends.
